ICELAND TOURIST VISA / SCHENGEN VISA
ICELAND TOURIST VISA / SCHENGEN VISA
Steps to apply for tourist visa to ICELAND for Indian citizens in USA. I believe the process might be same for other citizens too but I am not sure.
The process is not explained well on their websites and hence it could get complicated than it really is. The visa application process that is explained in this blog is through Norway immigration services in Houston. It can be applied through other embassy's in USA too. Call VFSGlobal to learn more about other embassy's you can apply through. Iceland is one of the Schengen countries and hence you need to apply for a schengen visa. If you are a first time application then you have to go to the application center for bio-metrics.
1. Complete application
a. Create your account at https://www.udi.no/en/.
b. Fill out the application form.
c. Make payment.
d. Print the following:
i. Application form
ii. Payment Receipt
iii. Cover Letter
Note - Each applicant needs to create their own account and fill out an application form separately. The website allows for a group application but do not fill out a group application. Else you will have to create a new application at the Norway embassy. If you get this information just before your appointment, don't worry, you can go to the embassy and they will give you the time to fill out the application. Carry your laptop. I am not sure if they allow to use their computer to fill out your application.
